Sheikha Asma Al Thani is preparing to ascend Mount Everest, as she chases her dream of becoming the first woman from the Middle East to summit each continent's highest peaks and reaching the earth's poles, completing the Explorers Grand Slam. Sheikha Asma, a Qatari royal, is expected to start her ascent in mid May.
