Researchers at Central Veterinary Research Laboratory (CVR Laboratory) in the heart of Dubai have been turning to camels to potentially combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Known to be carriers of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), a predecessor to SARS-CoV-2, the current pandemic, recent studies have shown that camels are actually immune to the novel coronavirus.
