Paramount has halted production on ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ due to positive COVID-19 tests within the crew.
It is unclear how many people working on the movie have tested positive. Production is set to resume on June 14.
Paramount said that it is following all safety protocols and will “continue to monitor the situation”.
Production had been taking place at the Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire and other locations across the UK.
‘Mission: Impossible 7’ will star Tom Cruise, who is also serving as a producer on the movie.
Last year a recording emerged of Cruise threatening to fire crew members if they broke COVID-19 protocols.
The movie is set to be released in May 2022 and will also star Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Vanessa Kirby
