Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is going to space with his brother Mark aboard a rocket built by his space company Blue Origin.
Bezos shared the news in an Instagram video, in which he said that going to space has been a lifelong dream.
“You see the Earth from space and it changes you. It changes your relationship with this planet, with humanity. It’s one Earth,” said Bezos.
The brothers will be flying to the edge of space in a reusable rocket called New Shepard which will soar 100 kilometers above sea level before the capsule detaches from the booster. Passengers will be able to view the curvature of the Earth and experience weightlessness. It will then land in the West Texas desert.
