OECD: Humanitarian migration falls while labour and family migration rises


Europe had a decrease in the number of asylum applications by 10% in 2018. Family migration, where people migrate with, or to join, family members, increased by 9% and labour migration by 6%. When it comes to Europe the population growth here has been small during the last decades and mainly driven by immigration.
