Armie Hammer has reportedly checked into an in-patient treatment programme to address his ‘drug, alcohol, and sex issues’.
Vanity Fair quotes a close friend as saying: “This is a clear sign that he is taking back control [of] his life and knows that this [is] a step towards his overall well being.”
It comes months after the actor was accused of ‘violently raping’ a former partner, who claims that during their four-year relationship Hammer ‘mentally, emotionally, and sexually’ abused her.
The actor has denied the allegations, claiming that all of his interactions with partners were ‘completely consensual’.
