Fruit vendors in India's southern Tamil Nadu state are comforting about 1,000 hungry monkeys at a temple there by feeding them during the ongoing lockdown imposed to curb the spread of coronavirus. As the famous Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple in the state's Madurai city has been empty for the past month due to the lockdown, the monkeys have been seen wandering around the area in search of food.
