Jennifer Lawrence has criticised a ‘radical wing’ of the Republican Party for ‘dismantling’ voting rights in America.
The actress has appeared in a new video by the non-profit anti-corruption organisation RepresentUs.
She went on to accuse some politicians of ‘shutting down hundreds of voting facilities within reach of minorities’.
Lawrence then asked people to contact their local representative and pressure them to pass the ‘For the People Act’. According to Lawrence, this act can reverse anti-voting laws and ‘stop billionaires’ from buying elections.
