Lily Collins is to star as diminutive doll Polly Pocket in a new film.
It will be written and directed by actress Lena Dunham and produced by Dunham’s production company, Good Thing Going, as well as MGM and Mattel Films, producer of the ‘Toy Story’ films.
Collins, star of ‘Emily in Paris’, is also producing the project and said she was ‘thrilled’ to play the character of one of her favourite childhood toys.
“I’m so excited to partner with this inspiring powerhouse of a team,” the 32-year-old said. “As a child who was obsessed with Polly Pocket, this is a real dream come true and I can’t wait to bring these tiny toys to the big screen.”
