England captain Harry Kane is only concerned about winning each game at Euro 2020 and is not bothered by his lack of goals at the tournament so far.
Kane has not yet found the net in three games, but has also looked a shadow of the player who had such an impressive season for Spurs. And as England prepare for their last-16 clash with the old enemy Germany at Wembley on Tuesday, Kane stuck to the script.
“The most important thing for me is that we’re winning games,” he said, acknowledging that players go through good spells and lean spells.
The whole of England will be praying a good spell arrives pretty soon.
