Matthew McConaughey shared a passionate video message for Americans on Independence Day.
The actor said that Americans should focus on ‘our collective responsibilities’, describing the last year as ‘another head-scratcher’. During his video, McConaughey said that the US is ‘basically going through puberty in comparison to other countries’ and they must ‘keep learning’ and ‘keep maturing’.
“We gotta make sure we maintain hope along the way, as we continue to evolve,” said McConaughey who, it has been said, is considering running for Governor of Texas.
