Italy's triumphant soccer team returned to Rome in the early hours of Monday morning buoyed up with adrenaline after winning the Euro 2020 final against England.
The players, led by their coach Roberto Mancini, flew into Rome early Monday morning where he and captain Giorgio Chiellini lifted the trophy aloft as the team left the plane.
Following a modest greeting on the tarmac, the team boarded their team bus to be whisked off to the Parco dei Principi hotel in the city where a large crowd of fans awaited their heroes.
