The past week was the fourth successive week the number of global COVID-19 cases have spiked, said the World Health Organization (WHO) at Monday's press briefing at its headquarters in Geneva. The number of deaths from the coronavirus also bounced back over the past week after ten consecutive weeks of declines, said the WHO.
