Drake Bell has been sentenced to two years probation by an Ohio court after recently pleading guilty to attempted child endangerment and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
The US actor was also ordered to complete 200 hours of community service. In a statement before the sentencing, Bell said that he accepted the plea because his ‘conduct was wrong’.
The victim claimed that Bell began ‘grooming’ her when she was 12 and began sending her sexually explicit text messages when she was 15.
Now 19 years old, she went on to call the Nickelodeon star a ‘paedophile’ and a ‘coward’. Bell is best known for his role on the sitcom ‘Drake & Josh’, which also starred Josh Peck and Miranda Cosgrove.
