Former Love Island star Dani Dyer’s family are said to be ‘relieved’ that she split from boyfriend Sammy Kimmence before he was jailed for fraud.
According to OK!, Dani’s father, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, said they are ‘relieved she’s walked away’.
The source told the magazine: “They think this is for the best. They’ve told her she’ll never be alone as a single mum as they’ll always help her to raise Santiago.”
The 24-year-old had baby Santiago with Kimmence in January and had hinted that she would like to have more children.
“Dani knew Sammy’s crime was bad but everyone thinks she just buried her head in the sand about it and didn’t face up to the enormity of his crimes until he was sentenced,” the source added.
Kimmence was jailed for three-and-a-half years for defrauding two pensioners out of nearly £34,000, claiming he would invest the money in horse racing bets but instead used it to pay off his debts and fund a lavish lifestyle.
