Fenix was a dog born with a brain disorder who ended up at a ‘kill shelter’ because his owners couldn’t cope.
Enter Zoe, who decided to give him a home and hasn’t looked back since. As she says, “I’m infatuated with Fenix.”
And now as this video shows, not only is Fenix fit healthy, and obviously happy, he’s also developed a new way to walk.
Fenix has cerebellar hypoplasia, the same condition as his sister Nube. Both were emaciated and couldn’t stand when they were dropped off at the shelter.
A dog rescue group, ‘I Stand With My Pack’, got involved and before long their weight was up and the dogs, who couldn’t walk without falling over, were running along the beach in doggy paradise!
