Lionel Messi waved to chanting fans from the window of the Paris airport where he arrived on Tuesday to finalise his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Wearing a T-shirt declaring “Ici c’est Paris” (This is Paris), Messi waved to the hundreds of fans gathered outside the terminal and chanting "Messi! Messi!" to welcome him.
The 34-year-old bade an emotional and tearful farewell to Barcelona at a press conference at the weekend.
PSG were immediately linked with the Argentinian and it is now believed Messi has signed a two-year deal, with the option of a further year.
