Bella Hadid has spoken about some of her most dramatic red carpet moments, claiming she feels embarrassed when re-watching them.
One of the most stunning was the rouge hip-split dress by Alexandre Vauthier she wore to the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, which sent the internet into meltdown.
Speaking in her ‘Life in Looks’ video for Vogue, she said: “I was nervous in this dress. I looked very sexual and all these things but was still nervous about cameras, nervous about having a lot of makeup on, and nervous about this slit.”
The supermodel added: “I kind of get embarrassed of this moment still – even though the dress is gorgeous – it just, again, doesn’t feel so much like me. I think that this was the start of the Bella persona that everyone sees of me. That’s my alter ego, that’s Belinda. I’m just so the opposite of her.”
