Nicki Minaj's husband Kenneth Petty has pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender.
The 43-year-old entered his plea via a Zoom hearing and could now face up to 10 years behind bars.
Petty was convicted in New York for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old for which he served four and a half years in prison. As part of his bail terms he must register as a sex offender if he moves state.
After marrying Bang Bang rapper Minaj in 2019 he moved to California and failed to register.
He is due to be sentenced on January 24.
