Alanis Morissette has distanced herself from an upcoming documentary.
Despite being interviewed for Alison Klayman’s Jagged, which marks the 25th anniversary of Morissette’s debut album, Jagged Little Pill, the Ironic singer, 47, says that she doesn’t support it.
The Canadian star claims she was interviewed during a “very vulnerable time” while suffering postpartum depression during lockdown.
Calling the filmmaker’s agenda “salacious,” she says the documentary contains “implications and facts that are simply not true”.
The feature reportedly includes Morissette describing multiple statutory rapes as a teenager.
