Actor Willie Garson has died at the age of 57.
His son Nathan Garson confirmed the news, but gave no cause of death.
Garson was best known for playing Stanford Blatch in TV show Sex and the City and recently reprised the role in upcoming spin-off, And Just Like That.
Friend and co-star Cynthia Nixon said of his passing: “So deeply, deeply sad we have lost @WillieGarson. We all loved him and adored working with him. He was endlessly funny on-screen and in real life. He was a source of light, friendship and showbusiness lore. He was a consummate professional – always.”
