A new survey suggests Donald Trump may not have been consigned to the political history books.
Nearly half of Republicans want the former president to run for office again in 2024, according to fresh data from the Pew Research Center published Wednesday.
As many as 67% of Republicans and independents with Republican leanings said ‘they would like to see Trump continue to be a major political figure for many years to come’, while 44 per cent would like to see him run for president again.
The survey, conducted in mid-September, also saw a third of Republicans against Trump remaining a ‘major political figure’.
