Activists are calling on the UK to ban all single-use plastic cutlery amid worries about the waste causing long-term harm to wildlife and humans. Although some delivery companies such as Deliveroo have an opt-out to cut down on plastic waste, environmental campaigners say too many takeaway businesses still offer single-use plastic cutlery and plates.
