Two important outcomes concerning sustainable transport, a statement and a database, were achieved at an United Nations (UN) event, according to a UN official on Saturday. UN Deputy Secretary-General Liu Zhenmin laid out two significant outcomes, namely the Beijing Statement and a new online database, at a press conference after the second UN Global Sustainable Transport Conference scheduled from Thursday to Saturday in Beijing.
