Syria's government and opposition groups have reached consensus to start the process of drafting a new constitution, according to United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen. The drafting committee, comprised of 45 members of Syria's government, opposition, and civil society, met on Sunday for the first time with Pedersen in Geneva ahead of the week-long talks.
