UN chief calls for more efforts against COVID-19 as global deaths top 5 mln

The COVID-19 pandemic is a severe threat faced by all mankind beyond country borders, said UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres with the world hitting the grim milestone of five million deaths caused by the disease.
