China has taken the initiative in envisioning a brighter future for the Global South by establishing the platform of the South-South Human Rights Forum, according to Chinese and European analysts. The 2021 edition of the biennial forum opened Wednesday in Beijing, bringing together leaders, diplomats, global researchers and representatives from developing countries for discussions on global human rights governance.
