An Asian Development Bank (ADB) official said that Chinese economy continues to recover, remains stable, and is mainly driven by the increasing demand at home and the surge of export this year. Although the global economy has been strained by the spread of coronavirus, ADB predicted China's growth this year to be 8.1 percent in its Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2021 Update that was released in September, no change to its forecast in this April.
