Nepal honours their dogs as part of Hindu festival celebrations

Kathmandu (AFP) – With marigold garlands around their neck, dogs took centre-stage in Nepal on a day dedicated to mankind’s loyal friend. Kukur Tihar, the second day of the five-day Tihar festival, is a Hindu festival.
