Tehran (AFP) – Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei voices satisfaction with recent talks with the United States, expressing confidence in the Islamic Republic’s position but casting doubt on US intentions. “Entering negotiations [with the US] is a decision and…has been well carried out in the first steps,…[but] we are very pessimistic about the other side”, Khamenei explains.
