Montevideo (AFP) – Uruguay’s leftist ex-leader Jose “Pepe” Mujica, who became a cult figure partly due to his modest lifestyle, has died after losing his battle with cancer, according to the government in Montevideo. “With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our comrade Pepe Mujica.
