Kharkiv (Ukraine) (AFP) – People work to clear the destruction after 17 Russian Shahed drones struck two districts of Kharkiv overnight, according to local mayor Ihor Terekhov, killing three people and wounding at least 60. Two rounds of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine have failed to yield a breakthrough in ending the war. Moscow has rejected calls for an unconditional ceasefire and demanded that Ukraine give up large swathes of territory and its bid to join NATO.
