Paris (AFP) – Footage captured by a spectator at the Philharmonie de Paris shows a protester holding a flare, disrupting a performance by Israel’s national orchestra. Four people have been arrested after the incident on the evening of 6 November, which saw several ticket-holding individuals interrupt the performance. The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra’s visit to the French capital had drawn criticism from a number of activist groups over the country’s conduct during its two-year military offensive in Gaza.
