Indigenous protesters disrupt COP30 for second time


Belém (Brazil) (AFP) – Dozens of Indigenous protesters dance and chant their way through the halls of the UN climate summit in Belem, Brazil. From the Munduruku community, the demonstrators are calling for the demarcation of their traditional homelands in the Amazon rainforest. They also oppose the the Ferrograo project, a nearly 1,000 kilometer railway intended to cross Brazil from west to east.
