Brussels (Belgium) (AFP) – The EU has told TikTok it needs to change the “addictive” design of its platform after it was found in breach of the bloc’s digital content rules, says the European Commission. “TikTok did not properly assess how its addictive features can harm users, and they did not implement effective measures to mitigate such risks,” says Thomas Regnier, a European Commission spokesperson.
