New Delhi (AFP) – Speaking at an AI summit in India’s capital New Delhi, UN chief Antonio Guterres calls for “less hype, less fear” over artificial intelligence, saying that a new UN expert panel will aim to “make human control a technical reality”. Amid growing concerns about the impact on employment and misinformation, Guterres said the United Nations General Assembly has confirmed 40 members for the Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence, which will delve into the issues related to global AI development and usage.
