Bamenda (Cameroon) (AFP) – Pope Leo XIV calls for a “decisive change of course” towards peace in a world which he says is “ravaged by a handful of tyrants”, as he speaks during an address at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral in the city of Bamenda in Cameroon’s troubled northwest region. It comes after US President Donald Trump criticised the pontiff after he called for an end to violence in the Iran war.
