Bureij (AFP) – Inside her tent in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, Palestinian teacher Shireen al-Kurdi makes dolls. “I thought I would make dolls for my own children so they could play and have fun,” says the 36-year-old mother of five. “The dolls came as a lifeline for the children, bringing smiles to their faces,” she adds.
