Haro (AFP) – Armed with buckets, spray bottles and water pistols, thousands of participants douse themselves with wine in the town of Haro, northern Spain. The wine battle draws in crowds from around the world, keen to take part in the traditional festival from Spain’s leading wine-producing region, La Rioja.
