Lima (AFP) – Peru’s new conservative president, Keiko Fujimori, leaves Congress in Lima after being sworn in, vowing to tackle the wave of crime sweeping the Andean nation. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several Latin American leaders, including Argentina’s Javier Milei, Chile’s Jose Antonio Kast, Ecuador’s Daniel Noboa, Uruguay’s Yamandu Orsi and Bolivia’s Rodrigo Paz.
