East Manggarai (Indonesia) (AFP) – Residents assess the damage a day after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck East Manggarai regency in Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara province, killing at least 53 people. The quake damaged homes, businesses, a church complex, and left a bank building in Borong in ruins. “We are afraid to go inside, so for the time being, we are still staying outside,” says one resident.
