Kyiv (Ukraine) (AFP) – Firefighters and emergency services attend the scene following a Russian ballistic missile strike that killed at least five people in Kyiv, according to Ukraine’s national police. Ballistic missiles have now struck the Ukrainian capital for two nights running — before air raid sirens could sound to warn people to take cover in basements, bomb shelters or metro stations. Ukraine accuses the United States of helping Russia, saying Washington failed to warn it of incoming missile strikes, which US President Donald Trump denies.
