Moscow (AFP) – President Vladimir Putin says that Russia is ready to “negotiate” with Ukraine, but vows to achieve “all the goals” of Moscow’s military offensive if “someone wants it differently”. Russia indicated its readiness to resume the talks, which have been at a standstill since the beginning of the year, following a meeting this week in Saint Petersburg between Putin and US special envoy Steve Witkoff.
