A cluster of decapitated bodies found at a burial site in Somersham, Cambridgeshire, are suspected to have been victims of Roman executions, according to Cambridge archaeologists. A total of 52 bodies, 17 of which had been decapitated, were excavated from three third century cemeteries in Knobbs Farm, Cambridgeshire between 2001 and 2010, as seen in photos from 2008.
