Bangui (Central African Republic) (AFP) – In Bangui, where there are fears that the Ebola virus may spread, checks are being conducted on the many travellers who cross the Oubangui River every day — the river that marks the border between the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the epicentre of the outbreak. “Given the current outbreak in that country, we must prepare to deal with any eventuality,” says Valentin Nebanga from the ministry of health.
