World War II veterans laid wreaths at the ceremony commemorating the 77th anniversary of the D-Day landings, at the World War II Memorial in Washington DC on Sunday. Veterans and attendees stood next to the wreaths as buglers performed paying tribute to the largest seaborne invasion ever undertaken.
