African countries in need of adequate vaccine supply as third wave looms: WHO official

The majority of African countries are failing to meet the vaccination goal of inoculating 10 percent of the population against COVID-19 by September due to shortages in vaccine supply, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) regional official on Thursday at a press conference in Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of the Congo.
