Slovenia's EU Council presidency is off to a rough start, with Prime Minister Janez Janša already under fire for attacking judges and name-shaming journalists. Every six months, an EU member state takes over the presidency of the Council of the European Union, an institution that, together with the European Parliament, amends and approves legislation.
