Like their human counterparts, this week’s cold snap in Texas has been disastrous for sea turtles living along the state’s coast. Over 4,000 cold-stunned sea turtles have been transported from the Gulf of Mexico to a convention center in South Padre Island, where volunteers are warming the reptiles in an attempt to revive them.
