The Regional Office for Africa of the World Health Organization (WHO) warned on Thursday that 42 countries in Africa, or 80 percent of the countries in the continent, will be unable to reach the minimum target of completing the inoculation of at least 10 percent of the population with COVID-19 vaccines by the end of September, as a result of unequal distribution of vaccines globally.
